The Lookout is a large, fluorescent pink-based acrylic painting of the rocky seascape and white hut on Bangor's Seacliff Road.

Starting as a pencil drawing of blocky cloud shapes in my sketchbook, this painting formed intuitively back in the studio and involves many layers of colours, paint marks, drawing, texture and atmosphere. 

It's recognisable instantly to the who know it, but yet otherworldly.  Perfect for a bright, light room or a dark lamp-lit nook, flashes of light reflecting pigment will reveal new things to see again and again as the light changes around it. 

SHIPPED REMOVED FROM WOODEN BARS AND ROLLED, please take to your local framer to have re-stretched and/or framed.   Framing is not necessary for a deep-edged canvas however a tray frame would be lovely.
