Measuring approx 130 x 70cm framed, this is a very special painting.

It's the culmination of many hours of experimentation and development in my Fieldwork project, beginning with negative space sketches of trees in my favourite local park (Castle Park in Bangor), working these up to choose the composition, colour palette, and format.

This is the final piece, which was painted for our studios' group exhibition in the beautiful Graffan Galleries at Castle Espie, where it hung above the fireplace.  It's perfect for that kind of thing - above a sofa, bed, fireplace, table or hallway.

Painted in complementary shades of green, violet and pale peachy mars, finished in a beautiful walnut shade of frame (professionally done to a top standard by Art & Home in Holywood), this is a really versatile painting that would suit many settings.  It's ready to hang, and van delivery is included within Northern Ireland (ROI, or shipping price on request).
