Introducing Lir 2 - a cool abstract sea painting.  Impactful, but practical at 40 cm to put anywhere in your home, this acrylic and wax pastel artwork has a white tray frame included and is ready to hang.

It would make an ideal wedding or birthday gift for surfers, sea lovers, or anyone with an affinity to beach, sunset, storm or coastal living.  Particularly relating to Ireland/Northern Ireland although the painting is designed to invite interpretation. 

As a medium sized painting it is ideal for gifting as it will fit right in to any home. 

This is the first working of my Lir concept, based on overlapping sketches of shadows and wave shapes seen out to sea on the North Coast of Ireland. 

Lir is an Irish mythological sea god, not so much god of the sea, but a god embodied as the sea, as far as I understand it!
