This one was a firm favourite in my recent exhibition, with many especially loving the way the framing sets the colours off.

Painted on a 40cm round canvas board, this mixed media painting displays a lot of exposed drawing, picking out the jagged angular rocks that I was surprised to see freed from the sand.

It is a comment on our local beach back home, the erosion it suffered at the hands of storms, which have become more extreme in recent times, gouging away the dunes and boardwalk, scraping the sand away from the red bedrock.  It's a different
