40 x 40cm acrylic and wax pastels on panel.  Presented in a black tray frame.

One of my most heartfelt pieces, this painting was inspired after hearing awful stories from the migrant community I had been working with, and processing it via things I had noticed on a coastal walk.

The high tide had left various shells and pebbles stranded high on the shelves within the jagged rocks, also a random leaf and various bits of human-made detritus, none of which really belonged there but had ended up there nonetheless via forces bigger than them.
