One of those views I had to stop the car for, this is painted from a snapshot taken somewhere along the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway. The landscape was unusually cast in bright shades of green and blue, and just stretched away, gradually disappearing in to the mist.
Measuring 8 X 20", this beautifully compact but bright painting is created in acrylic on box canvas.
No frame required, the chunky edge sits a couple of inches proud from the wall although you could also remove the string to set in a tray frame.
