A giclee print reproduced from my original acrylic wave painting. Measuring 10 x 10" in total, 8 x 8 excluding the 1" white border.
This mini sea study captures the view over the side of the Stenaline ferry, investigating the colours, depths and patterns made by the boat.
Each sea study is unique not only on face value of the waves made, but in all those aspects of the image, representing a custom record of that journey.
The Belfast/Cairnryan crossing represents the connection between my old and new homes, and the wave studies form part of my body of work representing themes of home, change and the ties between old and new.
