Acrylic on aluminium panel, painted from a special evening sunset down at Island Hill on Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland.
The aluminium panel gives this piece a luminosity, both in areas displaying a mild sheen and by adding extra vibrancy to the peachy and lilac pastel colours.
Areas of sensitive layering and stronger texture work together to build a serene view of the glassy sand left after the Strangford tide rips the sea away, cut through by the constant source of the stream.
Size 16 X 20"plus frame.
Framed in black as pictured.
