Acrylic on paper, this graphic style painting was created from a sketch I made on the Calmac ferry between Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis, to Ullapool on the Scottish mainland.
It was during a heatwave, so everything was brilliant blue, and the various Hebridean islands varied in stages of blue as they faded off in to the distance.
Approx 17 x 13.5" including the frame, this is a bright little window of escape on calm seas.
